Today's the final day of Gen Con 2014, but yesterday was my first day ever attending.
For those not aware, Gen Con is "the best four days in gaming"—an Indianapolis-based convention focused on celebrating the games and players of tabletop, card, role-playing, board, and many other types of games. It also attracts an impressive amount of "cosplay," a type of performance art centered on bringing characters to life in a way that goes a little beyond just wearing a costume.
You might remember that this is primarily a video games-focused blog, but Gen Con is too big a deal to ignore. What follows is my photo journal of my day at Gen Con: the cosplay, the people, the food, the games, and the madness.
Enjoy.
